The band soon began recording what would become their first full-length album, Bill, released on the independent label Dragon Street Records. The album was a favorite on Dallas radio. The sound on Bill is characterized by the heavy use of vocal effects and unconventional riffs, both of which lend to a neo-psychedelic reamadercaresru.handfertiodentmildeabacimissveerocbu.co: Grunge, alternative rock, neo-psychedelia.

This is an interesting debut CD. The beat is usually simplistic on early albums, but these guys seem to accelerate into the changes. 'Tripping' instead of trippy/5(13).

Bill is the first full-length album by Tripping Daisy. It was released in on the Dragon Street label, and then re-released on July 22, on Island Records. On the re-release, the track "Green Tambourine" was removed, and the two unlisted tracks were appended to the final track.

Good debut effort by Dallas-based band Tripping Daisy, featuring the alt-rock hit "My Umbrella". One important note regarding this CD: the original issue on local label Dragon Street Records features some slightly different mixes of most of the songs, as well as a track that was left off of the Island Red Label issue (a cover of The Lemon Pipers' "Green Tambourine").

Tripping Daisy's debut is an eminently likable, if not exceptional collection of buoyant, early-'90s alt-pop. Sometimes the band sounds like Jane's Addiction's prankish little brother (due in large part to the heavily processed vocals of Tim DeLaughter), and admittedly, this .

So, fearless and blind Something cruel about my world Often relaxing but maybe I'm reacting in my world Gazing so loosely, so often I'm loosing in my world And all I've got is down on the ground, yeah Running through the fields of nowhere Where nowhere takes me to.
